From dictation to quote

Don't spend your evening on the quote.

Talk me through the job. I'll turn it into a quote.

Tell me what you saw on site, the way you'd explain it to a colleague. You check the lines and the prices, and you send the quote.

From dictation to sending

You say it. I turn it into lines.

No need to type up your notes first. I organise what you told me, then you check it and send it.

1

Talk me through the job

Say what needs doing in your own words. Dictation is in beta during the pilot, so you can always type instead.

2

Check the lines and the prices

Your notes become line items. You check and correct the prices and the quantities.

3

Your quote, with your logo

A clear quote with your logo and business details, and VAT at 20% or No VAT.

4

Send it, then keep track

You always send the quote yourself. Afterwards you can see whether your customer opened it, accepted it or asked for changes, so you know where each quote stands.

Your trade. Your prices.

You decide on the price and when it goes.

If a price or a quantity is missing, I flag it. You can correct any line, and your customer only gets the quote you've approved.

Frequently asked questions

Worth knowing before your first quote.

Short answers about the price, your own prices and sending.

Who is Mondigo for?

UK tradespeople who quote for work: electricians, plumbers, and painters and decorators, sole traders or small firms. It's for business use only, not for private households.

Do I use my own prices?

Always. You set and change your own rates. I work from your prices and never make one up; when something is unclear, I mark it for you to check. Nothing goes out without your approval.

Do I have to dictate?

No. Talking is the easiest way to start, but you can type the job instead. Dictation is in beta during the pilot, and I'm built for British English, from “half eight Tuesday week” to postcodes.

How does my customer get the quote?

You send it. Your customer opens it from a link, where they can accept it or ask for changes. It's also available as a PDF.

Metric or imperial?

Both. Price in m² or sq ft, metres or feet, or by the day. Your price list and your quote stay in the unit you chose.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the UK pilot. After that it's £19/month with unlimited quotes. Mondigo is for business use only, so no UK VAT is added: if you're VAT-registered, you account for it under the reverse charge.

What happens to my data?

The app and its database run in the EU, in Warsaw. I don't keep your voice as an audio file, and in Settings you can download your data or delete your account.

Who is behind Mondigo?

ZST Radio Kft., a Hungarian company. Mondigo is already used by tradespeople in Hungary, and the UK terms for business customers are under Hungarian law.
