In your own words: what's coming out, how many taps and valves, which radiator goes, whether the system needs draining down. You can say the price too. Dictation is in beta during the pilot, so you can always type instead.
For plumbers
Don't spend your evening on the quote.
Talk me through the job on site, the way you'd explain it to a colleague: the bathroom, the taps, the radiator that's coming out. I'll split it into lines with your prices. You check it, and you send it.
Free during the UK pilot, no card needed, then £19/month. For business use only, not for private households.
“Upstairs bathroom. Take the old toilet out and fit the new close-coupled one, the customer's supplying it. New pillar taps on the basin and the bath, chrome, and three isolation valves, one on the toilet and two on the basin. The radiator in the back bedroom's coming out, put in a double panel, six hundred by a thousand, with a TRV and a lockshield. Drain the system down, refill and bleed it. Pipework to the new rad, call it two hours if the centres don't line up. Plus the call-out.”

How it works
From the survey to the quote you send.
Labour and materials on separate lines, with quantity and unit: each, m, hours. The prices come from your own price list. Anything I'm not sure of, I mark for you to check.
Correct what needs correcting, then send it with your logo and business details. Your customer can accept it or ask for changes. Nothing goes out without your approval.
To check
If I'm not sure, I mark it.
When a quantity is an estimate, a price is missing or a line isn't clear, the line is marked “To check”, with a specific question next to it. For example: “The hours are an estimate: measure whether the pipe centres of the old and the new radiator match.”
I never approve a price for you, and I never make one up. You decide on every marked line, and your customer only gets the quote you've approved.

Your prices
Your rates, your quote.
- You set and change your own rates: hourly rate, call-out, the jobs you do every week.
- Labour and materials go on separate lines, so your customer can see what they're paying for.
- Price by the job, by the hour, by the metre or by the day. Your price list and your quote stay in the unit you chose, in pounds and pence.
- VAT at 20% or No VAT, depending on whether you're VAT-registered.

Frequently asked questions
Worth knowing before your first quote.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the UK pilot. After that it's £19/month with unlimited quotes. Mondigo is for business use only, so no UK VAT is added: if you're VAT-registered, you account for it under the reverse charge.
Do I use my own prices?
Always. You set and change your own rates. I work from your prices and never make one up; when something is unclear, I mark it for you to check. Nothing goes out without your approval.
What if the customer buys the toilet or the taps?
Say so when you talk me through the job, as in the sample above. When you check the quote, you decide which lines stay: if you're not supplying the part, delete the materials line and only the labour goes out.
Can I quote heating work too?
Yes. Radiator swaps, TRVs, draining down, refilling and bleeding are split into lines the same way as the bathroom work. Hourly work goes on in hours and the call-out as one item, at your own prices.
How does my customer get the quote?
You send it. Your customer opens it from a link, where they can accept it or ask for changes. It's also available as a PDF.
What happens to my data?
The app and its database run in the EU, in Warsaw. I don't keep your voice as an audio file, and in Settings you can download your data or delete your account.
